Tensor Labs LLC ("we," "us") develops Spell n Sprout, a spelling practice app intended for use by families. We aim to minimize the personal information the app handles.
Information used by the app
Parents may enter a child's name or nickname, an optional grade level, spelling words, test dates, and practice answers. The app uses this information to create lists, organize practice, and show progress.
Where information is stored
Spelling lists, child profiles, practice history, and related app data are stored locally on the device. Spell n Sprout does not require a user account or upload this practice information to a Tensor Labs server. Depending on your device settings, this locally stored information may be included in an iCloud or computer device backup managed by you and Apple. Tensor Labs does not receive or control those device backups.
Purchases
Optional purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use purchase entitlement information supplied through Apple's purchasing system to determine which app features are available. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Analytics and advertising
The app does not include third-party advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell children's personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Contacting support
If you email spellnsprout@tensorlabs.us, we receive the information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address and the description of your issue. Please do not include children's sensitive information in support emails. We use support correspondence to respond to requests and resolve problems.
Managing and deleting information
Parents can manage child profiles and spelling lists within the app. Deleting app data or uninstalling the app may remove locally stored information; device backups may retain copies according to your device settings. Purchases are managed separately through Apple.
Children's privacy
Spell n Sprout is designed for parent-guided use. It does not provide public profiles, social sharing, or direct messaging between children. Parents should supervise what information they enter.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will post the revised policy here with an updated effective date.
